By 1st January 2023, the BVI Business Companies (Amendment) Act, 2022 and the BVI Business Companies (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 will come into effect allowing registered users to verify names of a company’s director(s) by a search against the name of the company. Other information from the Register of Directors will remain private, such as dates of birth, addresses or former directors’ names.
